First I cut down the thin cardboard that came with my Studio Calico Valley High Kit to a 8.5*11 size. I then found a margarine lid in the size I liked and traced it out onto the cardboard.
I don't own a sewing machine so any stitching I do is always by hand :)
Added some pink water colour splatter
Started the layering process.
Voila, the finished layout!
For the journaling I had my daughter list 8 things that came to mind when she though of her friends
- Music
- Drama
- Disney Movie Marathons
- Friends
- Monster Energy Drinks
- Sears Drama Festival
- High School
- Pizza
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!

Lovely layout! Your handstitching is amazing!!!! :D
Nice job on the stitching - it must have been a bit tougher using the cardboard but it came out very even. I really like the look of the old label-maker strips, too.
